I don't EVEN want to admit that summertime is on its dessert course. Labor Day is a few weeks away, school starts next week for a lot of people here in the Evanston area (and may have already started in your neck of the woods!). As soon as the bagpacks, binders, crayons and calculators go on sale, we itch to either start or get back into a proper exercise routine. To kick it up a notch! To get in shape! To make it work! Whether you're brand new to exercise or have taken a hiatus and want to get back into it, I want to share 5 things you should know before you jump in.
I get so excited when people want to exercise or eat healthier and get so bummed when the novelty wears off. This is a lifestyle change and, just like it takes time to settle into a new city or a new relationship or a new job, it takes time to settle into a new lifestyle. So carry on and take your steps!
